Equation examples

These equations are rendered using the MathJax-LaTeX plugin (see here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/mathjax-latex/. This plugin is a WordPress implementation of the MathJax javascript library.

The plugin supports Latex & MathML. The plugin is under active development (last updated 4 days ago) and is compatible with the latest version of WordPress.

When $a \ne 0$, there are two solutions to $ax^2 + bx + c = 0$ and they are
$$x = {-b \pm \sqrt{b^2-4ac} \over 2a}.$$

When \(a \ne 0\), there are two 
solutions to \(ax^2 + bx + c = 0\) and 
they are $$x = {-b \pm \sqrt{b^2-4ac} \over 2a}.$$
